"The Giotto sateen are my absolute favorite! They feel and look luxurious and make me look forward to eight hours of sleep every night. Every time I wash them, they get softer and softer and even more luxurious. I love the rich color options, my favorite being sea mist. They are classic, crisp, and finished off with the most perfect hem-stitched border."

Q: Percale or Sateen?

A: Sateen.

Q: The perfect number of pillows?

A: Four

Q: What type of pillow and how many of each type?

A: For sleeping I use two standard-size, high-lofting plush pillows in Siberian goose down. For decorative shams I use two queen high-lofting plush pillow, with double-stitched piping to hold the shape of the shams more fully. The right pillowcase can make or break the shape and structure of a pillow.

Q: Do you read in bed?

A: Absolutely, and I also sleep with my dog Goofy, my amazing Spinone Italioano.

Q: Tell the truth, do you iron your linens?

A: Nope.

Q: How do you set the perfect bed?

A: I top my bed with a feather bed mattress cover to give the bed the softest and most comfortable base. Then soft-as-butter, silky sateen top and fitted sheets. Cover the sleeping pillows and comforter with the same matching sateen for a dreamy night's sleep. Finished off with a folded quilt or cashmere throw at the end of the bed.

Q: Top sheet, duvet or both?

A: Both
